You may have your favourite game. Here in Papua New Guinea, the national sport is the game of Rugby League. It is played in every villages you go. It is most watched game in the whole country. It is also a game where show of pysical strength and might is displayed by the players. Before, it used to be played by boys, but now girls are becomeing more involved in the game. A proper competetiong is up and running in major centres of the country. Australia introduced to the game to PNG as its colony. Australia has a professional competition and Papua New Guinea tries to put a team there. It is now runnning awareness campign and getting the citizens to get behind this move.
