Day 1 (Wednesday)
Plane arrives early 7:30a. Drop off bags with front desk. Probably won't arrive at hotel until 8:30-9a.
Go to Hyde Park's Anzac Memorial, Archibald Fountain, Barracks Museum (9:30a-5p, 1 hr, $5), St. Mary's Cathedral (6:30a-6:30p), and St. James Church (8a-5p). Go through at night as well, if it's lit.
Pitt Street Mall, Queen Victoria Building (shopping), and/or AMP Centerpoint (9a-6p, 1 hr).
Old Coffee Shop (7:30a-5p) for breakfast and coffee, near Pitt Street Mall. Lunch at Sushi Roll.

Day 2
Blue Mountains. Lunch is served.
Oztrails or wonderbus.com.au. I think we'll go with Oztrails. I don't think we'll appreciate the wine tasting portion of Wonderbus nor the animals. Also, Wonderbus is more expensive. Is it really that much more advantageous to go on weekdays? Tours don't seem cheaper. Maybe meals and souvenirs are cheaper? It's just less crowded.
Shopping is open until 9pm. So maybe dinner at Edna's and shopping afterwards.
Blue Mountains. Ferry back to the Rocks.
Walked arond The Rocks, including Opera Bar.

Day 3 (Friday)
CityRail to Circular Quay. Go to Rocks Visitor Centre. 1-2 hrs cross in the morning. Lunch at The Rocks or Circular Quay. Walk around a little bit. Sydney Observatory (10a-5p). Customs House for architecture (9:30a-5p). Museum of Contemporary Art (10a-6p). Then climb bridge around 3:30p to avoid sun.
Sydney Harbour Bridge (8a-6p, 3.5 hrs the climb (from start to finish), 1-2 hrs for walk and Pylon). Pylon Lookout (10a-5p).

Sydney Opera House (9a-4p, 1 hr). Should go to the earliest one possible for Sydney Opera tour, otherwise it will get crowded. Free performances outside, probably amateurish. Royal Botanic Gardens: Governor's House (12p-3p), pleasant gardens (10a-4p), Art Gallery of NSW (free), and Mrs. Macquarie's Chair (viewpoint).

PORT DOUGLAS / CAIRNS
Day 1
Leave early (around 7a) for 9:50a flight from Sydney. Arrive in Cairns around 1p and Port Douglas around 3p. Need transportation to hotel. Meridian will provide for $25.50. $20 to Cairns accomodation. When is lunch? Lunch on arrival? Or bring lunch with us? Or is lunch served on the plane?
At hotel, rest. Go to Four Mile Beach. Maybe look at Great Barrier Reef deals (unless they are booked already). Dinner. Explore hotel. Sleep early.

Ate at Cactus Bar & Grill.
Day 2
GBR on Poseidon. Introductory dive. Lunch is served. Dinner on return.

Got sick. Really cold.
Dinner at Zinc. Tried pavlova.
Day 3
Tour on Daintree, Cape Tribulation, and Mossman Gorge with Tony. Less dirtiness hopefully than Pete's. May run late for nocturnal Skyrail. tour in which case, we'll need to eat lunch. Otherwise, lunch is served, and dinner on return.

Dinner at Salsa. Souffle with ice cream.
Day 4
Second day at GBR on Poseidon. Introductory dive or snorkeling. Lunch is served. Dinner on return.
Rainforest Habitat. Breakfast with the birds. Cockatee tried to bite me and stole my danish.
Got Daintree Tea.
Dinner was supreme pizza and ice cream.
Day 5
Transfer to Cairns hotel. Get location of shuttle pickup and shuttle schedule. Then take transfer to Skyrail. Lunch served on tour? No, it's transportation only. Take train back to Cairns Station. Explore downtown Cairns.
Heritage Trails if time permits. Dinner. Shuttle back to hotel. Explore beach and hotel. Sleep early for a few hours before transportation to airport for 7a flight. Bring breakfast or do we get meals?
Shuttle to Mercure Harbourside. Walked around muddy beach.
Skyrail. Stops along the way.
Kuranda. Walked around shops.
Train to downtown Cairns.
Walked around shops at esplanade.
Ate at Seafood Barnacle Bill's.
Walked to hotel. Had a drink.
Woke up really early for flight.
