Thursday
We stopped by Safeway for food supplies since it's so close to the airport: 

Dinner at Mama's Fish House. Pull into the valet parking lot. They have a nice beachfront location.

Drove to Hana but this took a few hours since the road was full of twists and turns. We even got car sickness because it was so bad although it was worsened by the fact we had just eaten dinner. When we left Hana, we didn't have the same problem.
Stayed at the Honokalani cottage, which was really hard to find at night. There's a dirt road that leads to it. When we finally got there, it started to rain. Once inside, there were some nice amenities like TV, washer and dryer, and a big kitchen (all at an affordable price), but there were geckos and gecko poop everywhere. There was also a big spider inside but unreachable on the ceiling, so we slept in the car.

Friday

The area surrounding the Honokolani cottage is picturesque (minus the insects and geckos) with an ocean view and lots of greenery.

We drove out to Waianapanapana Park. We saw a blowhole and blacksand beach. We didn't make it to the caves.
We then drove to the Red sand beach.

Shopped at Banana Republic and ate at Lappert Ice Cream (Shops at Wailea)

walked along hotel boardwalk and sat at marriott lounge chairs

Wednesday
windsurfing
ahi poke, spam musubi at da kitchen
lahaina
lunch at cool cat cafe
lots of cookies from Honolulu Cookie Co., bargained for a free pineapple mix bag ($5 value) for purchasing $50 worth of cookies
Kaanapali, walk along hotel boardwalk
Whaler's Museum
dinner at Pupu Lounge
jacuzzi
stayed up late packing

Thursday
planned to wake up early but heavy rain and lightning; good thing our trip was over
