Saturday Scheduled a pick up by shuttle through Expedia. They had a round-trip package for $20, including a nice lei. We stayed at the Ocean Resort Hotel Waikiki. Reviews are pretty accurate at Trip Advisor. It's a budget hotel but close to the beach, about a 5-10 minute walk. Sunday Ate breakfast and had orientation with a tour guide. It was basically a time share. The girl there gave us a deal on photos. The guide then took us to a coral factory and Hilo Hattie. Got some free coral and Hilo Hattie cups.
Monday Woke up early at about 6am to go snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. We took the shuttle down to the beach. The place was pretty deserted around 7a. You have to swim pretty far out. The shallow area is filled with dead coral and fish that are just looking for food from tourists.
We then hiked Diamond Head which is close by. Diamond Head is a pretty easy hike with nice views at the top of the hill.
At night, took a Navatek Sunset Dinner Cruise, booked through the hotel. It was rather expensive, about $150 for two people. The food was ok, entertainment was low budget, but the sunset was nice.
